Melody (age 8)
What the book is about: It was about him looking for the right prayer place to pray. And he couldn’t find the right one. But his mom and dad said God will hear him anywhere no matter where he prayed.
Like: I like that he could pray anywhere.
Dislike: I didn’t not like anything. :p
Recommend: Kids!

Emily (age 6)
What the book is about: The book is about him finding a place to pray.
Like: I like that there are pots and pans and stuff. He goes on the swing so God can hear him.
Dislike: I don’t like that he said, “Shhh…mama has a place to pray and what’s a good place for me?” because he had to be quiet.
Recommend: I recommend to Becca because she likes books.

Notes from Melody and Emily’s mom:
This is a super cute book for kids to learn about prayer. Of course, one of the first things you will notice is that the story is made up of rhyming sentences, which means….you can rap it if you want! I really like the pages at the end after the story is over, little readers are able to put into action what they just read about in the book. There is an area to write down places to pray and people to pray for, as well as a poster to list prayers, you can put a sticker each time you pray and mark if your prayer has been answered.
