Our hotel, Hyatt Place, provided a free shuttle within a one-mile radius and we took advantage of this by going to dinner at the Dick’s Drive-In in the Queen Anne neighborhood. It’s a little bit out of the way from the Seattle Center, but no tourists here….mostly locals. Maybe it’s because of the cheap prices that are still employed. Most burgers go for under $2 and shakes for around $2. That matches McDonald’s prices or even beats them! Where else are you going to get burgers, fries, and a shake for a little over $5?
This Seattle institution chain has this diner mixed with a fast food joint vibe to it. Think a cheaper In-N-Out.
Between the six of us (our family and Norm’s parents), we tried all four burgers, the fries, a strawberry shake, and a root beer float. Typical, yet satisfying fast food fare at rock bottom prices. Not bad, but not spectacular. It’s fast food, what’d ya expect?
Children’s Menu [kinda]

Stroller Access [normal at a typical fast food joint]
