Seattle: Piroshky Piroshky

Our first “breakfast” in Seattle was Piroshky Piroshky takeout.  Since we stayed at Inn at the Market, Piroshky Piroshky was literally one block away.  It is a popular Russian bakery that sells piroshky (or pirozhki), which is baked or fried buns/pies with a variety of fillings.  Think of a baked Chinese BBQ pork bun or Spanish/Portugese Empanada as an equivalent.

Piroshky Piroshky makes their pastries fresh.  They were still making them when we ordered our breakfast!  You can smell them as you approach the bakery.  They also have a large variety to choose from.  Piroshky Piroshky is great if you want tasty pastries to go.

Joyce had the Spinach, Egg, and Cheese Piroshky.

Melody had the Apple Cinnamon Roll.  We all tried this one and thought it was the best out of all the pastries.

Emily…and eventually myself had the Ham and Cheese Piroshky.
