Seattle is known for its seafood, so why not go to one of the best seafood places in Seattle for our vacation’s first night’s dinner?  Elliott’s Oyster House is on Pier 56 right next to the dock for Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour.  It was an absolutely gorgeous night and perfect for eating outside.  The entire outdoor deck was full of Elliott’s Oyster House patrons.  However, since we reserved a table via OpenTable, we were seated inside next to the window overlooking the Argosy dock.

The waiter we had was very courteous and helpful in recommending dishes.  After looking at the menu beforehand and right when we got to the table, we decided on the following dishes then drinks (shown in the above picture):

Norm – Crab-Crusted King Salmon (daily special) and the Half-Dozen Oyster Sampler; Ambrosia

Joyce – Knife and Fork Salad; Gingerberry Fizz

Melody – Oodles of Noodles; Strawberry Lemonade

Emily – Grilled Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Veggies; Seamonster Punch

Mom – Oysters Rockefeller; Arnold Palmer

Dad – Smoked Seafood Sampler (Chilled); Lemonade

The seafood was utterly amazing (also locally sourced and sustained) and the dinner as a whole was scrumptious.  We’ll definitely have to visit Elliott’s again the next time we visit Seattle.
