I was treated out to lunch today because a co-worker couldn’t make it to my dim sum birthday outing last Friday.  Since there was a break in the rain, we decided to hit up Ramen Underground (formerly Sushi Bay) on the other side of the block where I work.  Every day there are lines out the door for this place.

This place is small as there is hardly room for tables and an aisle for walking width-wise.  Go early or late if you want to eat in.  There’s a 10-minute wait outside on the sidewalk after you order if you want to take out.

I decided to order spicy miso ramen that came with one piece of Char-Siu (BBQ Pork) and Green Onion.  I added dumplings, braised pork belly (kakuni), and boiled egg.  The additions are $1 each.

The ramen had mild spice while the meat was tender and the egg was medium-boiled.
