In the midst of a week-long training I attended during the last week of September, I visited the Off The Grid: St. Mary’s Square event held every Monday.  One of the food trucks that happened to be there was the Bacon Bacon truck.  For all you bacon lovers out there, visiting this food truck is a must!

I ordered The Burger with The Fries.  There was a generous amount of crispy bacon and grilled onions sitting on top of two ground beef patties for The Burger.  The Fries consisted of crispy garlic and cilantro steak fries.  Since I’m a ketchup lover, ketchup was generously added in the picture below after I received the order.

You can find basically anything wrapped around with bacon these days as bacon is naturally salty/crispy.  The BaconBacon truck has a good sampling to choose from.

***Update 5/13/2015***: Tried the California Bacon BBQ Burrito.  The burrito consists of BBQ-sauced pulled pork, crispy pork belly, bacon, french fries (yes, french fries in the burrito ala Senor Sisig California-style), and coleslaw.  You can really taste the individual ingredients with none overpowering another.  The pork belly and the bacon stayed crispy throughout.  The pulled pork was tender and had just the right amount of BBQ sauce added to it, not too much and not too little.  Overall, this was a good burrito.

***Update 3/25/2015***: Tried the Bacon Fried Chicken Sandwich.  This would be bacon encrusted panko fried chicken with bacon strips along with coleslaw mixed with bacon mayo.  Props for not drenching the sandwich with bacon mayo so it would become soggy.  This was a great fried chicken sandwich with Bacon Bacon’s own unique twist on it.
