On another Thursday SF Ferry Building Farmers’ Market, another staple food stand present is Hapa Ramen.  It was a bit chilly in the morning, so I decided to get some ramen to warm me up.  Here’s a review of it:

Big Daddy Ramen Bowl

  • A bit pricey for ramen, but you get a good amount of food
  • Slow-cooked, braised pork was a bit dry
  • Sheet of Nori Seaweed
  • Plenty of Egg Noodles
  • LOVED the tender breast meat of the fried chicken
  • LOVED the creamy, slow-cooked poached egg
  • Whole Kernel Corn
  • A couple of string beans
  • Came in a generous amount of pork/chicken dashi broth

Added Condiments

  • Garlic Chili Oil
  • Togorashi Chili Powder (Chili Flakes, Nori, Ginger, Sesame, and Citrus)

Pickles

  • Pickled vegetables with a bit of Kimchee
