On Thursdays around lunch time (11am-2pm), the Creme Brulee Cart sets up about 2 blocks from my workplace on Market and Sutter.  I’ve heard of this infamous Creme Brulee Cart by word-of-mouth that all started out at Dolores Park here in San Francisco.  Chef Curtis Kimball is the owner and guy that runs the cart.  His brother owns and runs the Magic Curry Kart.

Creme Brulee (egg custard with torched sugar on top) in foil cups are served at $4 each and Curtis torches them on the spot.

I tried “The Yes Please!”, which is a Nutella (Chocolate Hazelnut) with Fresh Balsamic Strawberries Creme Brulee.  It was like eating chocolate-covered strawberries with sweet crystallized sugar on top.  Yum!

I also tried the Honey Vanilla Bean on a later visit.  It was sweet and smooth.  You can also see some black flakes from the vanilla bean when you reach the bottom.

I frequented the Creme Brulee Cart again and tried “The Tupac” (Vanilla with Champagne Cranberry Sauce and chunks of cranberry inside).  This was the best creme brulee flavor I’ve tried so far!  Smooth, sweet, and fruity….just how I like it.

Another flavor I tried was the “Breezy Weezy Fresh and Easy” (Lemon Blueberry).  This had a hint of lemon flavor and a very generous amount of blueberry chunks inside.  Since I love blueberries…..thumbs up!
