Our good friend, Kat, help start up the Go Streatery food truck.  The truck had a trial run before they officially opened over at our church in late February.  They sell seasonal and sustainable “glorious peasant food”.  Whatever you call it, the food is pretty tasty.  Keep up the good work Kat and crew!

Pork Sandwich – Sandwich was very flavorful as you can individually taste each separate ingredient.

Seasonal Root Chips – Somehow the batch I got wasn’t as crisp as Terra Root Vegetable Chips.

Salad with Preserved Lemon Cream Dressing – I added the fried egg for $1 more and it was perfectly cooked.  The salad was absolutely amazing as even my girls loved it!  Small bites of potatoes and bacon combined with a generous amount of lemon cream dressing and lettuce was simply heavenly.

Lemonade Rhubarb Muddle – A refreshing pink lemonade with thin grass-jelly like strawberry rhubarb at the bottom.

Ricotta Zeppoles – Didn’t try it but everyone else gave it rave reviews.

  2. Hello,

This is the best oxtail and grits I have eaten in a long time. My friends had it too, delicious. The only thing is, for $8.00 there could be a little more meat, we felt that the meal was rather small for the price, just thought you’d want to know.
