Off The Grid: Civic Center

Address: UN Plaza or Civic Center Plaza in front of City Hall

I’m a bit late in posting this as I went to this Off The Grid: Civic Center event more than a month ago.  This is one of the many Off The Grid events that happen in the City throughout the week.  The original is the one at the Fort Mason parking lot on Fridays for dinner.  Off The Grid: Civic Center happens every Friday from 11am to 2:30pm.  Mobile food vendors alternate Fridays and about 4-5 vendors come per Friday lunch.

HapaSF

Lumpia with separate Sweet Chili Sauce and Pineapple Sauce was crisp on the outside and pork-filled (like a Potsticker) on the inside.

51st State

Quail was nicely seasoned and the maple syrup added made it sweeter.  I guess I’m not a grits lover because it was plain Jane and needed the extra maple syrup.

El Toyanese

Flavorful carne asada burrito.
