A couple of weeks ago when the weather was nice, I decided to walk down to the Ferry Building to try out the RoliRoti truck. I’ve been on a gourmet food truck binge lately. RoliRoti always had and has top reviews as a gourmet food truck, so I wanted to try it out for myself. The truck is in front of the San Francisco Ferry Building (on the left side) twice a week (Thursdays and Saturdays) during the Farmers’ Market.
When I got there, there was a line of about 30+ people already. RoliRoti is known for their Porchetta Sandwich. They roast and/or rotisserie the porchetta (roasted pork), chicken, and rosemary-infused potatoes on site at the truck for quite a long while (similar to slow cooking). I ordered a Porchetta Sandwich and a small side of Rosemary Infused Potatoes.
The sandwich was amazingly delicious with just the right amount of garlicky goodness in the spread. There was also a generous amount of herb/seasoning with each bite of the potatoes. The flavors of the food were brought out spectacularly and the meal was completely scrumptious.
If you don’t mind waiting in line for about a half hour, you’ll experience an absolutely incredible meal. Good things come to those who wait.
