While grocery shopping, I sometimes pass by the frozen food section and on the way to the ice cream, I pass by the frozen pizza. I noticed that when sales are on, the large, family-size pizza is sometimes the same price or only $1 more than the pizza for one. During one of the sales, I decided to buy a couple to try them out and also for stockpiling if we didn’t feel like cooking anything.
California Pizza Kitchen is most known for their signature BBQ Chicken Pizza. Depending on your oven and how long you bake it for will determine the crispiness of the crust. Our crust was a tad brown, but what really makes this pizza stand out is the red onion, hint of cilantro, and BBQ sauce. Smoked Gouda cheese on the pizza makes it interesting. Not bad for frozen.
