This book was a recommendation by a few friends. I really didn’t know what to expect. I remember seeing snippets of the movie before it aired. It seemed like a fantasy type story. Mitch Albom had the idea for the book from something his uncle said. The story goes backwards from Eddie’s 83th birthday. Without giving too much away, if you plan to read the book, Eddie meets 5 people in “heaven” that is connected to him, sometimes without his knowing it. They each have a lesson to teach him. There are sections that tell us about Eddie’s past and why he lives like he does. This was an interesting read, although I prefer Tuesdays with Morrie over this one.
